I’m Keith Heller, the dentist who helps others launch and buy practices without learning business the hard way

My Journey

I finished dental school in 2011 and began my ownership journey in 2013. After a full year searching, I found the right location and built my first office from the ground up.

Five years later, I expanded that location while simultaneously opening a second one—which I later sold. Today I run a busy multi-specialty practice in Brooklyn,NY (5 hygienists, 13 dentists) where we handle endodontics, orthodontics, pediatrics, periodontics,  cosmetics, and restorative work.

As GPR faculty, I also mentor residents, which showed me how many strong clinicians trip over the business side.

Why Dentists Choose Day One

I’m not guessing—I’ve executed:

  • Location scouting that actually works.

  • Build-outs and expansions without massive overruns.

  • Multi-location ops, scaling, and clean exits.

Whether you’re an associate plotting your first startup, a resident debating buy vs. build, or an owner eyeing acquisition #2, I spot the operational and financial pitfalls before they cost you.

What Sets Me Apart

  • Proven timeline: 2011 grad → 2013 startup → expansions → sale.

  • Hands-on credibility: I manage the schedule you want (9am–7pm realities).

  • No sales pressure: Not a broker. Paid to guide, not close.

  • Dentist-to-dentist: Clinical judgment meets real P&Ls and team dynamics.

Ready for Your Day One?

If you’re 12–24 months out from launching or buying, let’s map it.
